What is 10% CBD oil?
10% CBD Oil is a type of oil that has 10% cannabidiol in it. This is equivalent to 1000mg of CBD in a 10ml bottle.
A 10ml bottle approximately has 200 drops of CBD oil, while the 30ml bottle ones have 600 drops. 90% of the oil usually consists of carrier oil, like hemp seed oil, as well as many other cannabinoids and hemp terpenes.
Although CBD is non-toxic and generally safe for frequent consumption, we do not advise going over 70mg per day. 70mg of CBD is equivalent to about 14 drops of 10% oil.
How much 10% CBD oil should I take?
There is no standard dosage for CBD. The amount of CBD oil you should take will depend on factors like body weight, general health, and body chemistry, as well as the application area and CBD oil concentration.
The general rule is to start with a small dose of CBD and gradually increase it as necessary. Start with a daily dosage of 20–40 mg of CBD or 4–8 drops per day. Increase the CBD dosage in your oil by 5 mg, or around one drop of CBD oil, after a week. If this does not produce the desired results, after a week, raise the dose once more by 5 mg of CBD. Continue doing this until your symptoms start to noticeably improve.
It could take a few days for a CBD effect to become apparent following regular consumption so you have to be patient. So it's best to wait a little longer before increasing your CBD oil dosage. Always consult a medical professional before adjusting the CBD oil dosage especially if you're using 10% or more CBD concentrations.
