Maca, or Lepidium Meyenii as it is scientifically known, is a vegetable commonly found in the Andes & first cultivated by the Incas. The inca people have used Maca in their culture ever since they first produced it, used by their warriors for 'strength'.
For a while. the usage of the supplement was suppressed due to the Spanish cononization but the locals managed to keep using it and now Maca is largely regarded as a Superfood.
